Yobs who follow the Romans have long been condemned over multiple acts of fascism and Lazio punters were caught lobbing flares at away supporters before kick-off.

But it's the risible banner flown high during their Champions League win over Brendan Rodgers' side which has sparked condemnation.

Lazio will almost certainly be in the dock and the much penalised side are likely at risk of a fan ban at their next European home game with UEFA set to take a dim view.
