Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta is going to “confuse” Kieran Tierney by playing him at centre-half and left-back, according to Gunners legend Tony Adams.Tierney, 23, has hit the ground running at Arsenal since completing a £25million move from Celtic in 2019, playing a crucial part in their FA Cup triumph last season.The Scotland international operates primarily as a left-back, but Arteta has regularly deployed him as one of three central defenders this term.Adams fears the Gunners manager could befog his young star by doing so, insisting he should be used in his best position.“I think Tierney has got it all, he’s got a fantastic attitude,” he said on Sky Sports’ The Football Show.“He’s someone you can really work with but to play him left-side.
