Mike Johnson has reacted to Matt James' historic casting as the first Black lead on The Bachelor—and, spoiler alert, he's here for it.
Johnson, who was a contestant on Hannah Brown's season of The Bachelorette, was a fan favorite and many thought that popularity would earn him the lead role on the franchise's flagship series.
Ultimately, however, Johnson wasn't cast as the titular Bachelor (instead, it went to the season's "nice guy" Peter Weber, who went on to be one of the most controversial and widely-loathed Bachelors in the show's history).
Now, following ABC's announcement that Matt James will make history as the franchise's first Black Bachelor, Johnson has taken to Instagram to share his thoughts—and to make it clear to fans that.
