TV doctor Michael Mosley has been tragically found dead after going missing on a hike while on holiday in Greece.The 67-year-old was on a trip on the Greek island Symi, with his wife, when he failed to return back after a coastal walk alone.
It was his wife of 44 years, Dr Clare Bailey, who first raised the alarm and a search operation was launched. Five days later, his body was found in a rocky area beside Agia Marina, around a 30-minute walk from the village of Pedi where he was last seen on CCTV.
Ahead of the discovery, Michael and Clare's children had flown out to Greece to help emergency services with the search.This Morning star Michael and former GP Clare, who lived in Buckinghamshire, had recently concluded their national tour, entitled Eat (Better), Sleep (well), Live (longer).
The couple who both lived and worked together then attended the Hay Festival alongside other writers and experts, before heading off on their Grecian trip.The two first locked eyes as young medical students at the Royal Free Hospital Medical School.
