In a statement posted to his Twitter account on Sunday, Jordan says he stands with everyone peacefully protesting the racism and violence against people of color. “I am deeply saddened, truly pained and plain angry.
I see and feel everyone’s pain, outrage and frustration. I stand with those who are calling out the ingrained racism and violence toward people of color in our country.
We have had enough,” he wrote. A Minneapolis police officer put his knee on Floyd’s neck for several minutes, despite Floyd saying he couldn’t breathe multiple times.
