Binky Felstead has revealed she would keep concealer stashed away in her bra after suffering red raw acne in her teens. The Made In Chelsea star, who wore big round glasses and train-track braces at school, was subjected to torrid bullying throughout her youth which led to her starting counselling aged 16, which she has never really stopped.
Binky said: “I used to carry concealer in my bra - I had the worst acne when I was in sixth form. If ever I used to hug anyone I’d leave a big orange streak across their shirts, and I’d have to run to the loo and reapply it really quickly.
It was red raw and bumpy.” On her bullying, she added: “I used to cry every morning without fail in the school’s chapel. I couldn’t sing the hymns because I was crying so much.
Nobody spoke to me.” That trauma hasn’t wholly left Binky, who is expecting her third child. While heavily pregnant with her son Wolfie, she irrationally feared that her entrepreneur husband Max Darnton, who she met at Soho Farmhouse in January 2019, wouldn’t find her attractive after going through photos on his iPad and comparing herself to “skinny” girls he used to hang around with.
