Met Office latest as TWO weather warnings in force for strong winds

Two weather warnings are in force near Manchester, as the North West is braced for strong winds. The Met Office says windy conditions are expected across the region on Wednesday (December 18).

Forecasters have issued two yellow weather warnings for wind. The first warning, which was updated by the Met Office earlier today, lasts until 9am this morning.
