The UK is set for an autumn temperature surge - with parts of the country expecting up to a 10C increase as a spell of fine weather graces us midweek.The Met Office predicts that the cold weather of the weekend will make way for warmer days ahead.
And that's especially so for people living in the Home Counties and East Anglia. For lucky people living there, temperatures could reach a toasty 22C by Wednesday.
However, don't get too comfy with the idea of an Indian summer just yet. Meteorologist Tom Morgan says this week's pleasant weather won't last, as wet and windy conditions are expected to return by the following weekend.
He said: "Temperatures are going to rise gradually, peaking probably on Wednesday in eastern areas, and we might well see in some spots 20C, and 22C is not out of the question, probably in eastern England so East Anglia down towards the South East. "But it will be much milder compared to now for everyone.
