Outlander stars Sam Heughan and Graham McTavish have paid homage to the show in the latest episode of Men in Kilts with a visit to the real-life inspiration for the Craigh Na Dun Standing Stones.Fans of the hit time-travelling series will know how important the magical stone circle is as it is how Claire (Caitriona Balfe) is able to travel back in time.Based on the Callanish Stones on the Isle of Lewis in the Outer Hebrides, Sam and Graham took a trip to see the real-life ancient site in the fourth episode of their travel show, dubbed “Witchcraft and Superstition”.The duo were completely awestruck by the otherworldly structure, with Graham questioning why (and how) the huge standing stones were even brought to the site.Graham said:.
