Men are joining forces across the country to break the "stigma" around particular pints as they call it "one of the best". Solo pints are set for a rise on Twitter/X as members of the public take to their locals on their own and order a drink.
While many may have enjoyed a tipple on their own, social media user @HarryAFC86 has gone viral for his solo Stella Artois and says the stigma around heading for a drink on your lonesome "needs to be broken." He wrote: "Stigma behind having a pint on your own needs to be broken." Many agreed with the post, and while some say there isn't a stigma about enjoying a beverage on your own, Harry suggests there is as it's not as commonly enjoyed as it should be.
One user questioned the solo pint trip, writing: "There’s not stigma fella, love a pint on my own in the summer, sat outside a London pub people watching." But Harry replied: "I’d say there is, it’s not really the done thing and there’s defo people that judge, not that I care tho." Others revealed the solo pint without their phone was a mental health break they never knew they needed.
They wrote: "During a difficult time in my personal life I didn’t pick up the phone to friends to go for a drink but after work I’d go have a couple on my own sat in the sun and it was the headspace I needed but didn’t know." A third has said their favourite type of pint is a solo pint, adding: "Did it last week.
