Eamonn Holmes has candidly spoken about his 'tough year', which saw him split from his wife Ruth Langsford after 14 years of marriage.The TV presenter, 64, has also been battling with his health, requiring more use of a wheelchair and a mobility walker on numerous occasions.
Ruth and Eamonn, who co-hosted This Morning, announced they were parting ways earlier this year after 14 years of marriage. A spokesperson said at the time, "Ruth Langsford and Eamonn Holmes have confirmed their marriage is over and they are in the process of divorcing." In the same year, Eamonn spoke about his mobility issues, having suffered from chronic pain for several years.
He previously said he was on 'borrowed time' and 'not ok' as he sought help from a wheelchair and a mobility walker to get around in public.
Reflecting on his challenging year, Eamonn told The Sun on Sunday: "It’s been a tough year and I’ll be glad to see the back of it.
