A member of staff was shot as he tried to diffuse trouble at a sell-out Halloween party, the Manchester Evening News can reveal.
The victim, in his 20s, was blasted in the leg outside the venue. The incident happened in a loading bay outside Un.titled Studios in Eccles where the event billed as "Magic City Massacre" was being staged.
The ticketed party attracted up to 700 revellers from across the UK, including Birmingham, Liecester, and Scotland. The venue is in Astor Road, on an industrial estate off Eccles New Road, and is also used for fashion and advertsing photo sessions.
The Manchester Evening News understands that a group of around eight people were asked to leave the party after a row began inside.
