Meghan, Duchess of Sussex (born Rachel Meghan Markle; August 4, 1981) is an American member of the British royal family and former actress. From 2011 to 2017, she played Rachel Zane on the American legal drama Suits. Donald John Trump (born June 14, 1946) is the 45th and current president of the United States. Before entering politics, he was a businessman and television personality. Trump was born and raised in the New York City borough of Queens, and received a bachelor's degree in economics from the Wharton School. He took charge of his family's real-estate business in 1971, renamed it The Trump Organization, and expanded its operations from Queens and Brooklyn into Manhattan.

The company built or renovated skyscrapers, hotels, casinos, and golf courses. Trump later started various side ventures, mostly by licensing his name. He owned the Miss Universe and Miss USA beauty pageants from 1996 to 2015, and produced and hosted The Apprentice, a reality television show, from 2003 to 2015. Forbes estimates his net worth to be $3.1 billion.

Meghan Markle tops Democratic party's 2023 candidate list, US election poll suggests

Meghan Markle is currently in the joint top place among Democrats if the party picks a woman as its candidate for the 2023 presidential election, new polling suggests.

A poll by the Washington-based Democracy Institute of Democratic voters found that 25 per cent said the Duchess of Sussex would be best for the job out of a list of potential female runners.

The former Suits star, who now lives in California after stepping down from the Royal Family in 2020, came in joint first place alongside Vice President Kamala Harris, also on 25 percent.

Hilary Clinton, who lost the US election to Donald Trump in 2016, was next with 22 per cent in the survey of 555 Democrats carried out between May 24 and May 26, the Express reports.An additional 18 per cent backed congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, while six percent voted for Senator Elizabeth Warren.
