Harry was educated at Wetherby School, Ludgrove School, and Eton College. He spent parts of his gap year in Australia and Lesotho. He then underwent officer training at the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst. He was commissioned as a cornet (second lieutenant) into the Blues and Royals, serving temporarily with his brother Prince William, and he completed his training as a troop leader. In 2007–08, he served for over ten weeks in Helmand, Afghanistan, but was pulled out after an Australian magazine revealed his presence there. He returned to Afghanistan for a 20-week deployment in 2012–13 with the Army Air Corps. He left the army in June 2015.

Meghan Markle throws herself into charity work one week after Harry's dash back to UK

The Duchess of Sussex took centre stage in a series of newly released photographs ahead of a busy week for her and Prince Harry which will include a trip to Canada to celebrate one year until the Invictus Games.

In the photos posted to the couple's Instagram, Archewell_Sussex, Meghan could be seen preparing food with a group of women.

In a black and white snap, she's seen grinning as she watches the preparation while in a colour photo, she is seen giving it a go herself.

The snaps were captioned: "On Saturday, Meghan joined the Southern California Welcome Project for an evening of cooking & storytelling. "In collaboration with The Archewell Foundation’s partner, @minaslist, a group of 15 women gathered to cook traditional Afghan food!" Meghan and The Archewell Foundation launched The Welcome Project in 2023 to "support women-led programming; creating a safe haven and inclusive environment for women who have recently resettled in the U.S.
