Meghan, Duchess of Sussex (born Rachel Meghan Markle; August 4, 1981) is an American member of the British royal family and former actress. From 2011 to 2017, she played Rachel Zane on the American legal drama Suits. Prince Harry
Prince Harry, Duke of Sussex, KCVO ADC (Henry Charles Albert David;15 September 1984) is the younger son of Charles, Prince of Wales and Diana, Princess of Wales and is sixth in the line of succession to the British throne. Harry was educated at Wetherby School, Ludgrove School, and Eton College. He spent parts of his gap year in Australia and Lesotho. He then underwent officer training at the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst. He was commissioned as a cornet (second lieutenant) into the Blues and Royals, serving temporarily with his brother Prince William, and he completed his training as a troop leader. In 2007–08, he served for over ten weeks in Helmand, Afghanistan, but was pulled out after an Australian magazine revealed his presence there. He returned to Afghanistan for a 20-week deployment in 2012–13 with the Army Air Corps. He left the army in June 2015.

Meghan Markle 'sick' as she misses high-profile event with Prince Harry

Prince Harry graced the stage at Kevin Costner's polo field last Friday, while Meghan Markle was noticeably absent due to illness.

The Duke of Sussex honoured a fellow helicopter pilot for their bravery at the event celebrating first responders.Despite attending the event solo this year, anticipation is high for Meghan to attend with him in 2024.

Speaking to an enthusiastic audience at the Santa Barbara One805Live!event, which raises funds for county first responders, Harry, in a suit without socks, awarded local hero Loren Courtney right after his 7pm arrival.Sharing a light-hearted moment, he quipped about their shared comfort in a helicopter cockpit rather than on stage.

The night's festivities also included performances by Pink, the 80's icon Richard Marx, and even Costner himself.An insider remarked: "We were all hoping Meghan would attend like she did last year but the word is that she is sick and could not make it."Prince Harry is slated for a New York trip to attend the Diana Awards among other events and will also be present at a UK event on September 30.
