Meghan Markle has sensationally revealed how she was "silenced" by The Firm in her bombshell interview with Oprah Winfrey. The 39-year-old was asked by the presenter if she was "silent or silenced" and admitted it was the latter.

The former Suits star said that it was a sad irony as she had advocated for so long that women had to use their voice, but here she was being silent.

She told how she originally thought she was being protected by the institution when she was told to answer "no comment". But she admits that she soon didn't feel protected and the institution "weren’t willing to tell the truth to protect me and my husband".
