Meghan Markle's tailor has revealed his thoughts on the infamous bridesmaid dress row that left Princess Charlotte in tears.
The dispute, which caused a rift between the Duchess of Sussex and the Princess of Wales, occurred just before Meghan's wedding to Prince Harry in 2018.Luxury suit and dressmaker Ajay Mirpuri, who wasn't present for the major tension between Meghan and Kate, admitted he was "not surprised" the argument resulted in tears from the then-three year old.
Speaking to the Daily Mail, Ajay revealed he and three others had to work tirelessly when it was discovered none of the six bridesmaids' dresses fitted, the Express reports.Mr Mirpuri, who owns a showroom in London's West End, expressed understanding as to "why anybody would be upset" at such disruption mere days before the Windsor wedding.
He stated: "If anything happened in the background, it didn't happen in front of me."But yes, weddings are stressful at the best of times and especially one at this high level; you've got to respect that.
