Despite The Duchess of Sussex finding herself in a similar situation to Kate when she married Prince Harry - an outsider with no aristocratic background joining the Royal family - the two women are said to have found it difficult to form a friendship.In the lead up to Meghan and Harry's wedding in May 2018, tensions escalated and it was reported at the time that Meghan had made Kate cry over a disagreement about bridesmaid dresses.
However, it was later clarified that it was actually Meghan who had been crying and Harry confirmed that Kate had sent flowers as an apology.
But in his book 'Revenge: Meghan, Harry and the War between the Windsors', author Tom Bower adds more fuel to the fire by claiming that Meghan made a negative comparison towards Kate's daughter Charlotte, reports the Express.
