Meghan Markle will now have a “very good excuse” not to ever return to the UK, it is claimed. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex were told they are no longer likely to be given police protection according to recent reports and that gives Meghan a good reason to stay away.

According to a legal representative, Prince Harry asked for a judicial review of a Home Office decision not to allow him to pay personally for police protection for his family when they are in the UK.The Duke of Sussex's lawyers wrote a "pre-action protocol" letter to the Home Office which said they will seek a judicial review if ongoing security isn't provided by the UK when he is here.Effectively he and Meghan want full 24 hour protection from the police during their UK visits - something which is usually only given to royals or government officials.Royal biographer Phil Dampier reckons this is a “very good excuse” for Meghan to stay away from the UK.He told The Sun: "I don't think Meghan will ever come back to this country and I think this is a very good excuse for not coming back - I don't think realistically (Harry) expects to win this case."Harry and Meghan moved to the States which means Harry is now termed as a private citizen, It has been claimed that if he was to receive protection then any other high profile figure might also be able to claim it.But Mr Dampier added: "Getting his protection reinstated would set a precedent and so it gives them the perfect opportunity to say we can’t come to platinum jubilee celebrations."Harry might come over but it gives Meghan a good excuse not to come and also not to bring the children."The Queen, who has only met her great grandson Archie a few times, might not ever get a chance to meet her great
