Meghan Markle has been spotted in public for the first time since she skipped the Coronation but she wasn't with Prince Harry.The Duchess of Sussex turned down her invitation to attend the historical event in Westminster Abbey over the weekend and chose to stay at home in California with her two children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet instead, the Mirror reports.Harry was forced to attend the Coronation alone but immediately left for Heathrow airport after it finished so he could be back in the US to celebrate Archie's fourth birthday.
A source had suggested that Meghan believed it would have been "inauthentic" to attend the monumental occasion on Saturday.Meghan was spotted on a hike with her pals near her home in Montecito for the first time since King Charles and Queen Camilla were officially crowned.
Harry, however, was nowhere to be seen as the Duchess pounded the pavement on a rare outing sporting a scarf, sunglasses and a wide-brimmed hat.The former Suits actress was out having fun with friends Markus Anderson and Heather Dorak whom she's reportedly known for many years.
Despite the recent Coronation drama over her and Harry's attendance, Meghan seemed very cheery on her stroll, just one day after the crowning and her son's birthday.A source told the Mail on Sunday that Meghan wanted to stay at home to celebrate her son's birthday as she felt it would be "inauthentic" for her to choose to do anything else.
