Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have touched down in Nigeria, following the Duke of Sussex's solo trip to the UK.The pair are embarking on a quick 72-hour tour of the African nation.

The couple reunited at Heathrow, with Meghan arriving from Los Angeles on Thursday. She was spotted awaiting Harry's arrival in the airport's VIP Windsor Suite.Both Meghan and Harry hopped on the overnight British Airways flight to Abuja.

Their journey experienced a delay due to the scheduled pilot falling ill and the need for a replacement reports the Mirror.The Duke and Duchess of Sussex enjoyed the comforts of First Class, separated from other passengers by a curtain.

Upon their arrival in Abuja, other travellers were held back as the royal couple were escorted off the plane.They were greeted by Nigerian officials in Abuja, where they were whisked away through a side door onto the jetty and into a waiting minibus.
