Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have arrived in New York for their first visit to the city since they were involved in "near catastrophic" car chase earlier this year.Their visit to the city is for the first official event of their post-royal organisation Archewell, as they host an event titled 'Parents’ Summit: Mental Wellness in a Digital Age' in Manhattan.The Duke and Duchess of Sussex posed for photographs as they visited a school in New York, which offers a unique one-year, full-time fellowship in software engineering, which is funded by philanthropic support.
For the occasion, Meghan cut a casual figure in jeans, a black T-shirt and a letterman jacket, while Harry sported some beige trousers, a white shirt and navy blue blazer.
Earlier this year, Harry, Megan, and her mother Doria Ragland, were leaving the Ms Foundation's Women of Vision Awards, when they were involved in a terrifying car chase as paparazzi attempted to photograph the couple.
At the time a spokesperson for the Sussexes released a statement, which read: "Last night, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex and Ms.Ragland were involved in a near catastrophic car chase at the hands of a ring of highly aggressive paparazzi." They continued: "This relentless pursuit, lasting over two hours, resulted in multiple near collisions involving other drivers on the road, pedestrians, and two NYPD officers.
