Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have announced the first project for their charitable foundation Archewell, as they pledged around $200,000 (£147,000) for four relief centres.

The royal couple have announced a partnership with the World Central Kitchen, a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to providing meals in the wake of natural disasters.One of the permanent centres is being built on the Caribbean island of Dominica, which was hit hard by the hurricanes Maria and Irma in 2017.It is expected to open early in 2021.The second site will be set up in Puerto Rico while the other two locations have not yet been revealed.Harry and Meghan said in a statement: "The health of our communities depends on our ability to connect with our shared.
