Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are thought to currently be spending some time apart but one expert has warned that they may "become too comfortable" with their separate lives.The Duke of Sussex was recently spotted on a solo trip in Texas for the US Grand Prix while the duchess has been spending time at The Beverly Hills Hotel as she chases her Hollywood comeback.The former Suits actress is said to have set up base in the hotel so she can be closer to her newly signed WME talent agency in Los Angeles, the Mirror reports.According to relationship expert Louella Alderson, Meghan and Harry going down separate paths could give the couple time to "work on themselves", but she warned it comes with a risk.
Speaking exclusively to The Mirror, she said: "There is a danger with living apart that one or both partners can become too comfortable with their separate lives and drift further apart. "That's why it's crucial for couples to have regular check-ins and make sure they are still prioritising their relationship despite living separately."However, the expert also noted that the Sussexes may come out of their time apart with a better understanding of their relationship.Louella, who is the co-founder of the So Syncd dating app, told the publication: "Living apart can provide much-needed space and time for couples to work on themselves individually and reflect on their relationship without the constant presence of their partner."It allows them to have a deeper understanding of themselves and their needs, which can ultimately benefit the relationship in the long run.
