Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have released brand new glossy behind-the-scenes footage of their post royal charity work which comes just hours after Kate Middleton shared a clip of her taking her kids to a baby bank. The Duke and Duchess of Sussexes' one minute video shows the work that Archewell Foundation has completed over the last year which the former royal couple set up after their shocking exit from the Firm in 2020.The film accompanies a 28-page report detailing the causes that it has helped over the past 12 months with glossy footage then showing the charitable projects that Archewell has supported as well as events that Harry and Meghan have personally attended.
In one clip, the former Suits actress can be seen embracing military families while in another both Harry and Meghan can be seen making surprise calls to young grant winners, the Mirror reports. There are also videos of the Sussexes visiting a Brooklyn school as well as the duchess making up gift bags for a charity that supports expectant mothers. It's likely that the timing of the footage may raise eyebrows in the monarchy as it was released just hours after a video of the Princess of Wales and her three kids, Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis volunteering at a baby bank near their home in Windsor was shared yesterday. The Archewell video comes alongside a report, which was published on the Archewell site that states: "We are committed to a simple but profound mission: Show Up, Do Good."Meanwhile in the report, it details the charitable projects that Archewell has supported including assisting Afghan women refugees and highlighting the importance of online safety.
