Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have "lost the war" with Kate Middleton and Prince William, a royal commentator has claimed. The couple have been feuding with the royal family for years with their rift becoming even more apparent in recent months according to Daniela Elser.
Seemingly united appearances yet with next to no communication between the couples proves just how deep the tension is between the two parties.
Ms Elserc claims the Sussexes are now losing the war after throwing the Prince and Princess of Wales "under the bus" along with the entire monarchy, the Express reports. She claimed that the couple have seemingly "won a few battles" but are noticeably losing more and more respect from people around the globe, particularly those in America where the Sussexes currently live with their two kids.
Writing in her column for news.com.au, Ms Elser said: "In the fight with Buckingham Palace for American hearts and minds, Harry and Meghan are now looking like, while they might have won a few battles, ultimately they have lost the war. "The Sussexes might have thrown the monarchy and William and Kate under the bus, repeatedly, but Lazarus-like the prince and princess are enjoying approval ratings that are perkier than a surgically-enhanced C-cup." She also added that William's recent solo trip to the US for this year's Earthshot Prize could have been the ticket to their elevated success. She wrote: "It is William who is being hailed as the royal doing his darndest to save the planet and who is garnering unfettered praise for his £1million Earthshot Prize."
