Meet the little lad with a name fit for a king... literally
manchestereveningnews.co.ukA mum and dad have revealed the bizarre reason they named their son after King Charles. Matt and Amy Windsor said they were left racking their brains to come up with a name for their baby boy, the night before the 42-day government deadline.
The couple, from Cheadle Hulme, explained how the frantic search made them decide they ‘couldn’t resist the opportunity’ to name him Charles.
And the decision has led to a few raised eyebrows due to its regal connotation, they said. "We had our sister-in-law from Australia here recently, and after mentioning his full name, she was in disbelief.
We even had to get his passport out to prove it to her.” The pair soon realised their son's name would draw attention from others, especially with the coronation just weeks away.
