Tottenham boss was just 13. Pochettino graduated from Newell's Old Boys academy when Bielsa was the youth coach. He then subsequently played in the first team under Bielsa, too, between 1990-92.

Speaking on Monday Night Football, ahead of Leeds' home Premier League fixture against Leicester, Pochettino had nothing but good things to say about his former gaffer in Argentina.

When asked what it's liked to play under Bielsa, Pochettino said: “It's tough because he's a very demanding man.“Of course, he is a very special man.

I think the most important thing is to know he is very special.“He is a very different character, a different coach who believes in a different way to play.
