High street retailer Matalan has confirmed a major change to its prices that will help shoppers to keep their costs that bit lower this year.The fashion and homeware chain has announced that it will be slashing the cost of hundreds of products after it made savings elsewhere in the business.
The changes, which have gone live from today, are available in all off its UK stores and online.Matalan's price venture has saw the retailer invest £35 million in cutting the prices of more than 700 products by more than 15 percent.
This includes family essentials such as clothes and home furnishings.Some of the retailer's price reductions will be slashed by up to a quarter, with women's hoodies being dropped from £15 to £12.50 and boys’ hoodies from £13 to £10.
Other essentials include a pair of mens straight jeans being reduced from £11 to £10. Meanwhile, shoppers will also find homeware items for less in the price cuts.
