However, viewers of the show will know it's certainly not an easy task, and now Barroness Karren Brady has shared that being 'disrespectful' in the boardroom can get you fired rather quickly.
Ahead of the show's launch, she explained: "Like anything in life, if you don't stand up for yourself, no one will stand up for you. "If you're looking to get a partnership with one of the world's most successful people and a quarter of a million pounds, you've got to stand by your opinions. "It is important that you stand up for yourself, but it's also important to watch your tone.
None of us like to have a tone that is disrespectful, or particularly disrespectful to your colleagues. "It's okay to stand up for yourself, but we wouldn't tolerate bullying or disrespect in the boardroom." Since 2009, Karren has appeared on The Apprentice as an aide to Lord Alan Sugar.
