However, John has previously shared his thoughts on Gregg behind-the-scenes, while his wife Lisa Faulkner has even spoken out about the host's 'rude jokes'.
In 2017, despite their onscreen rapport and John's involvement in Gregg's fourth wedding as best man a year prior, John admitted he and Gregg have 'never been friends'.
