MasterChef viewers were quick to call out Gregg Wallace for making a provocative comment on Tuesday night's show. MasterChef: The Professionals' aired on BBC on Tuesday, as the last three chefs battled to win a space in Thursdays finale.
During the show the chefs travelled to Cork, Ireland to take on multiple challenges in professional restaurant kitchens. As the chefs were away from their usual kitchen set up, Gregg and the usual judge didn't make an appearance until it was time to judge the final dishes, reports the Mirror.
However, fans quickly noticed that Gregg made a crude joke about one of the chef's dishes. He jokingly remarked: “You've got firm little dumplings in there".Fans took to social media to express their opinion on the joke, as one fan pointed out: “Gregg loving his ‘firm little dumplings’ #MasterChefTheProfessionals,” with another responding, "dead" alongside a skull and crossbones emoji.Whilst some found the joke as hilarious, but one viewer guessed that Gregg would regret his wording, writing: “Gregg Wallace on Masterchef tonight ‘you've got firm little dumplings in there’ .....bet you wish you hadn't said that now".Fans of the show started to think that Gregg might be wishing he could take back his suggestive remark after he was put on investigation due to historic complaints that he'd made "sexual comments" whilst filming MasterChef.With Newsnight host Kirsty Wark among several people who have accused the TV presenter of making inappropriate and sexual comments or jokes.The MasterChef presenter stepped down from the show a couple of weeks ago due to the ongoing investigation, but took to social media to respond to the accusations with a series of posts on Instagram.In these posts Gregg denied
