Last time it happened I wasn't very happy and I said, 'Gregg, mate, it's 6am'. "And he said: 'But you're on my list!' That's the thing with Gregg, he gets up very early and his whole life is diarised and run on list." The dawn chorus from Wallace didn't just ruffle MasterChef judge John's feathers – his wife, actress Lisa Faulkner, was none too pleased either, being woken up by the early calls.
Fast forward to this year, and John revealed that his candid interview put a stop to the morning wake-up calls: "As soon as that article came out those calls stopped." But it's not just the phone calls that have tested the waters in John and Lisa's marriage.
Lisa herself confessed that there are certain quirks she finds less than charming, particularly John's taste in music: "Every couple has those little things that annoy them," reports the Express.
