Former Manchester United attacker Mason Greenwood enjoyed a successful debut at Ligue 1 side Marseille as he scored twice in an emphatic 5-1 win over Brest.
The 22-year-old ended his association with the club this summer after completing a £26.6million move to France. Greenwood spent last season away from the North West as he enjoyed a successful loan at La Liga side Getafe after United decided 'it would be most appropriate for him' to continue his career away from Old Trafford.
Figures at Old Trafford believed his exit delivered on their commitment that he should continue his career elsewhere. Shortly after the half-hour mark, the attacker stepped up from the spot to hand Marseille a 3-0 lead after Amine Harit was fouled in the penalty area.
