dailystar.co.ukThe Masked Singer UK finalist Aston Merrygold, aka Robin, has revealed that he had a "fan boy" moment when he discovered that US superstar Ne-Yo was on the same show as him.Aston, 33, came third place on the wacky ITV series which came to an end on Saturday night.Singer-songwriter Joss Stone, aka Sausage, was voted the winner after receiving the most votes from the studio audience.Badger came second place in the competition and was unmasked as music icon Ne-Yo.JLS band member Aston performed a stunning rendition of Closer by Ne-Yo during his time on the show, which went down well with viewers.
However, the pop star has revealed that he found out Ne-Yo could be Badger just after moments he stepped off stage singing one of his songs.
