Grinning Celtic legend Martin O'Neill has laughed off offering new Rangers boss Michael Beale any advice after he returned to the Glasgow cauldron.

Beale has taken over from axed Gio van Bronckhorst and has quickly got down to work as he looks to kickstart Rangers title challenge, with Ange Postecoglou's side leading the Scottish Premiership by nine points during the winter break.

Following his arrival from QPR, Beale will have to get off to a positive start against Hibs when the action resumes on December 15, but Parkhead fan favourite O'Neill won't be handing him any tips for his return to the Ibrox dugout.

The former Celtic boss was put on the spot about Beale's appointment during an episode of the BBC's 'Sacked in the Morning Podcast' by host Amy Irons, as they ran down the big talking points from the last week.
