Former goalkeeper Cammy Bell responded to the claim and reckon the 34-year-old midfielder who's contract has just under six months left to run could be a wise shout.

He explained: "I think he could be right with Scott Arfield. He probably fits the bill in that they might want to keep him around the club."He's 34 but I think he can still do a job for Rangers.
