Martin Lewis speaks out on having OBE taken from him after plea from King Charles III

Martin Lewis was upgraded to a CBE for his services to broadcasting and consumer rights in the Queen's New Year Honours back in July.

Now with a new medal of recognition, the 50-year-old revealed to fans that he has had to send back his OBE.Taking to his Twitter, the finance expert shared a selfie of him holding up his medal to the camera.In view of his 1.8 million followers, he wrote: "They're taking my OBE off me!"Yep, I got a letter saying now I have been upgraded to a CBE, I need to send the OBE back.So off it goes."Many of his fans flocked to his post to comment, including Davina McCall, who wrote: "Oh Martin!!!Madonna, 64, causes stir in TikTok clip coming out as gay"I’m so chuffed for you.
