BtoB have reached an agreement with their former K-pop agency CUBE Entertainment over the use of the group’s name.BtoB members Eunkwang, Minhyuk, Hyunsik and Peniel have launched their own label, called BTOB Company. It will be a subsidiary of DOD, which the four K-pop idols previously signed with in December 2023.BTOB Company has “reached an agreement” with CUBE Entertainment over the trademark right for the group’s name in order to continue using the moniker for future activities, DOD told South Korean news outlet News1, via Soompi. “[We] will spare no effort to support Eunkwang, Minhyuk, Hyunsik and Peniel as well as BtoB’s future activities so that they can be more active in various fields,” a representative fo BTOB Company added.All six members of BtoB – completed by Yook Sung-jae and Changsub – left their longtime label CUBE Entertainment in November last year following the expiration of their exclusive contracts.Changsub has since signed to Fantagio, which also manages K-pop acts such as ASTRO, Weki Meki and more.

The Office, has died at the age of 50.The news was confirmed by his management in a statement: “With great sadness we announce the peaceful passing of our beloved comedy genius Ewen MacIntosh.“His family thank all who supported him, especially Willow Green Care Home.”The Office’s creator and star Ricky Gervais also posted a tribute to McIntosh, saying: “Extremely sad news. Sophie Ellis-Bextor has announced details of a US tour, following the new-found success of ‘Murder On The Dancefloor’.The announcement that the British singer will be hitting the road for US tour dates comes following the resurgence of her 2001 hit, namely due to its feature in the infamous final scene of Emerald Fennell’s Saltburn.Since the film’s release at the end of 2023, it has become a viral hit on TikTok and even entered the Billboard Hot 100 – her first-ever song to chart in the US. It also climbed the UK single charts, peaking at Number Two last month.Now, Ellis-Bextor will be playing the song, as well as other hit tracks from her discography live later this spring, with seven performances scheduled across the US.The tour will kick off on May 30, with an opening show at August Hall in San Francisco, and continues the following night (31) with a stop at The Observatory North Park in San Diego.From there, the remainder of the live shows will run across the first half of June, with the first being held at the 9:30 Club in Washington DC (June 3), followed by scheduled dates in Boston and Philadelphia.The singer’s previously announced New York City show at Webster Hall is also included in the tour dates, set for June 6, although tickets for the gig have already sold out.

Die Hard 2, Porky’s and The Wanderers, has died at the age of 64.The news was confirmed on social media by Ganios’ fiancée, Amanda Serrano-Ganios, who said that he became ill last week and was treated in hospital for a spinal cord infection, before passing away on Sunday (February 18) from heart failure.Known for playing New York Italian-American tough guys, Ganios made his film debut in the cult 1979 coming-of-age film The Wanderers. On that shoot, Ganios struck up personal and working relationships with several figures that would reoccur throughout his career, including director Philip Kaufman and co-star Ken Wahl.Wahl paid tribute to his friend on X, saying, “Rest in Peace, Buddy…I love you.”Rest In Peace, Buddy …..
