'Disgrace' Shocked eyewitnesses hit out at armed police shooting 'out of control' dog in East Kilbride

Armed cops shot a 'dangerously out of control' dog in a residential street in East Kilbride after a Collie was mauled and three people were injured.Gun cops were drafted in after local officers attempted to contain the animal in Mannering, Calderwood, at around 10.25am on Sunday.The entire street was locked down as armed officers scrambled to the scene.

In a distressing video circulating online, an officer could be heard counting to 10 before horrified locals heard a blast and a dog yelping.
