Money saving expert Martin Lewis has issued some time advice about heating your home. It comes as snow has started to fall in parts of Scotland.
With the mercury dropping quickly in recent days, his advice could potentially save you a small fortune. First, the 50-year old consumer champion addressed the belief many people have - that it is cheaper to leave your heating on a low level all day.
Others, meanwhile, suggest you should only turn it on when required. Martin has now settled that debate, however, according to MEN.
Speaking on Good Morning Britain he said: "The general advice from the energy saving trust is that you have your heating on when you need it, and you turn it off when you don't need it.
