Argentina defender Marcos Rojo has no desire to return to Manchester United and fight for his place. The 30-year-old was a long-way off Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s first-team plans at the beginning of the campaign, making only three Premier League appearances with Harry Maguire and Victor Lindelof preferred.
The former Sporting centre-back was signed by Louis van Gaal for a fee of £16m back in August 2016, but has only once made more than 28 appearances in a single season, with 41 in 2016/17.
