A man was rushed to hospital with serious injuries on his head and body after being attacked in a West Lothian Street.The 23-year-old was walking along Riddochhill Road in Blackburn at around 11.30am on Friday, November 5, when he was targeted.
Police say the suspect got out of a nearby Ford Transit van before launching the vicious attack. He then left the scene in the same vehicle.
The victim was taken to St John’s Hospital in Livingston before later being discharged.Police are appealing for witnesses and have released a description of the suspect.
He is said to be around 5ft 11 in tall, of a stocky build, spoke with a Scottish accent and was wearing a black tracksuit top and bottoms.Detective Constable David McDougall of Livingston CID
