Manchester United prospect Amad has furiously denied reports that claimed he does not want to play for the Ivory Coast national team and has refused call-ups.
Signed by United from Italian side Atalanta in January 2021, the teenager has been capped four times by the Elephants since making his debut last year.
However, he only played five minutes in their underwhelming 2022 Africa Cup of Nations campaign and the Ivorians have missed out on the World Cup finals in Qatar.
In their absence, the African flag will be flown by Senegal, Tunisia, Morocco, Cameroon and Egypt. As for Amad, he spent the second part of last season on loan with Rangers.
