The majority of Manchester United's players are reluctant to speak in the mixed zone - the area where journalists patiently wait - and asking each player whether they had a quick two minutes as they left Portman Road was looking like a futile task after the 1-1 draw with Ipswich Town.
Each member of the squad walked past to exit the stadium and they all declined to speak, but then Diogo Dalot emerged from the dressing room by the side of a press officer.
Interactions with players in the mixed zone are brief but you get a handle on their different personalities by how they respond.
Dalot is hugely popular with ordinary staff at Carrington and has the same respect from journalists for answering questions when he doesn't have to.
