Ole Gunnar Solskjaer believes Donny van de Beek will 'reap his awards' at Manchester United despite a frustrating time at the club.
Van de Beek has only started four times in the Premier League - the last of those in May - since he joined from Ajax in a £40million deal 15 months ago and he has been an unused substitute on 29 occasions during his United career.
United supporters serenaded Van de Beek loudly during the defeat to City two weeks ago and his arrival was wildly cheered as Van de Beek replaced the flagging Fred.
The Dutchman's late introduction against Atalanta earlier this month was his first appearance in six weeks and Van de Beek has been omitted from all three of Louis van Gaal's Netherlands squads this term.
