Manchester United's stance on signing Matthijs de Ligt may have changed after the injury to Leny Yoro. United have been keen to strengthen the centre-back department this summer, which saw Raphael Varane depart as a free agent.
Yoro signed for the Reds earlier this summer in a deal that could rise to £58.9million from Lille. However, the centre-back suffered a potential injury during United's pre-season tour across the Atlantic.
The Reds are currently in the United States for several pre-season friendly fixtures, with Yoro featuring in the recent defeat to Arsenal.
It was during the loss to the Gunners that Yoro suffered a potential injury. The defender was later spotted wearing a protective boot and crutches after leaving a training session in California.
