A former Premier League referee has weighed in on the VAR controversy in Manchester United's defeat to West Ham. United were on the receiving end of a 2-1 defeat to the Hammers in the Premier League clash on Sunday afternoon.
The match also proved to be Erik ten Hag's final fixture as manager, with the club confirming the Dutchman's departure less than 24 hours later.
West Ham took the lead with a close-range finish from Crysencio Summerville before Casemiro equalised for United. However, there was controversy after the home side were awarded a spot-kick at the London Stadium in the final minutes of the contest.
