Manchester United could be handed a boost in the pursuit of Erling Haaland as Real Madrid have reportedly pulled out of the race.
The 21-year-old is one of the hottest properties in Europe, with the Reds among a whole host of clubs looking to pin down the talisman as his contract ticks down amid a reported £68m release clause which is due to become active in the summer.
But the Daily Star, via the Express, says Carlo Ancelotti's side are no longer one of the clubs vying for the forward's signature.
The report says that in bringing the Norwegian to the Bernabeu, it would cost an overall £300m, a sum that Los Blancos can't afford and they will look to pursue the avenue of Kylian Mbappe instead.
