Manchester United players have returned to training at the club's Carrington training complex following a week off. Interim manager Ralf Rangnick said the players would return for training on Saturday but that was pushed back until today after the heart-stopping victory over West Ham.
Phil Jones arrived after he rejected the opportunity to join Bordeaux on loan until the end of the season. Jones, who turns 30 on February 21, has played once in the last two years and is contracted to United until 2023.
Jesse Lingard reported after a loan move to Newcastle collapsed last week. Newcastle have still shortlisted Lingard, 29, as a potential deadline day loan option.
Dean Henderson also reported amid interest from Newcastle in signing the 24-year-old goalkeeper before tonight's 11pm deadline.
